Really nice ryokan hotel, staff was super helpfull and nice to us, they gave us a room on a highest floor:) private onsen experience really worth it and food was just delicious! hotel is super close to the bus stop, with close direction to Lake Ashi and ropeway. We recommend definately :)

Every thing was great, welcoming host, confortable and large rooms in the japanese style, convenient location to easily visit the most important spots in Hakone (Gora, open air museum, cable car to Owakudani, Pola museum, Togendai and the lake, Fuji san view and trails, ...), and above all, amazing food, delicious and very refined Japanes cuisine, both for diner and breakfast. staff went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay for us. we loved the traditional interior design, the relaxing times in the onsen and the breakfasts/dinners were absolutely incredible. would go back just so I could eat those again! truly, truly a magical place

It was an absolutely magnificient stay. We booked a room with a Fuji-san view and got lucky enough to see it both in the evening and morning of our one night stay. Pickup service (from and to) is excellent, we told them 10 minutes before we needed it and waited for line 2 minutes. Insane reaction. Got greeted by 3 employees outside. Welcome drinks at the beginning while they take all your luggage and send them into your room. you're then guided into your room where everything is thoroughly presented. Kaiseki meal is about 2h long, starting at 6 or 6.30. Prepare your stomach and eyes. It's gorgeous, gargantuan and delicious. Some (at least) are preared with very local food. Come with the provided traditional clothes too for the full experience ! Meal got adapted for Mrs who couldn't eat raw food. Food wasn't just cooked, some parts were completely changed to keep the feeling of each plate. The room was huge and clean. Onsen was amazing (and crazy hot but you can add some fresh water to the source water). After a grat night, you're up to an hour long japanese breakfast with 7 steps.

This was fantastic. The private bath was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and gave us a tour of the room and the food was definitely an experience! We are so glad we chose to book there as everything was beyond what we expected.

Hiramatsu has excellent breakfast and dinner. We cannot be more satisfied with the food. Always expect for the meal time. The 风吕 inside the room is lovely， and the view from the third floor watching out the Sengoku valley is stunning. Outside public-private bath is fabulous。 The staffs go far and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. We felt so pampered during the 2-day stay in the resort and hesitated to leave. Our carer 桥本 is so kind and patient, and she speaks Chinese so well that sometimes we forget she is Japanese LOL.
