Super spacious, well equipped, clean, with all the facilities you could need! The resort is beautiful, is well taken care of. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They even had beach stuff (chairs, umbrellas...) to borrow for the day. If I ever go back to Kauai, I will for sure stay there again! I would have stayed forever if I could!

The kitchen/ living room areas, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and exceptionally neat. We enjoyed the sit-outs as well... Kids loved the food trucks and the pool. Loved waking up to the roosters. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Nestled on 35-acres of lush tropical gardens and directly on Poipu Beach, this oceanfront property features easy access to a variety of recreational beach activities and has an on-site swimming beach. Each accommodation at this resort includes free WiFi. Featuring shops and dining opportunities, Poipu Shopping Village is right across the street from the property. This is our 2nd trip to Kauai in the whole and to Poipu Bay in particular. So, we knew where to go. Poipu is the best place to stay in South Kauai. The location is pretty close to many famous attractions, meanwhile, the rental car is anyway must here on the island. The infrastructure is pretty well developed, many nice restaurants and shops are in walking proximity, you just need to cross the main road. Drugstore and grocery stores are also located nearby in the old city of Koloa. The Poipu beach is one of the nicest here, but overcrowded! The sunsets here are just awesome! However, Kiahuna beach, where we stay in, we prefer more: it is also very nice and wasn`t so crowded. You can rent all swimming equipment here at an affordable price, surf lessons are also available and our daughter paid 75$ for 3 hours in a group of 3 people including her. Next morning, she found they were 4 in a group, which was a little dissapointment, because it takes more time for Instructor to work with 4 in the water, she had less personal time stayed with Instructor.

Rooms are located within 50 steps of the ocean. What a fabulous low-key hotel. Our room with two queen beds and ocean view was huge. So clean. Balcony doors to lawn. Microwave and mini fridge. Ocean is much closer than the impression that I got from the photos. The very busy walkway that goes about four miles along the shore is right out front of the hotel. Bikes are available to borrow. Loved the gorgeous - but not heated - swimming pool with a waterfall and natural plants. What a lovely relaxed feel. Manager helped patch together a couple reservations I made into a smooth plan. Appreciated the somewhat more affordability that it accorded in comparison to the other outrageously priced hotels with their taxes and resort fees.
