We were not aware that Casa das Obras was a 250 year old manor house. It has been sympathetically renovated with beautiful rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. It has impressive reception areas, and multiple cosy rooms for relaxing. It was centrally heated and spotlessly clean. A magnificent buffet breakfast was included. For warmer weather it has a lovely garden with a swimming pool. The host was on site to greet us, and available throughout our stay for anything we required. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The property features lake and pool views, and is 15 km from Guarda Cathedral. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. We stayed here for just one night with our family, and it was absolutely amazing. The house is both incredibly comfortable and beautifully authentic. It’s decorated in a charming rustic style while offering all the modern comforts. The bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the house was warm and cozy thanks to the well-functioning heating system and fireplace. The floors were a bit cool, but the bedrooms were perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Patricia, who welcomed and took care of us, was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities like the pool and jacuzzi, but we would love to return in warmer weather to fully experience everything this place has to offer. The location is truly magical—completely secluded, surrounded by stunning nature, with a small river nearby, grazing sheep, lush greenery, and mountains in the background. Absolute peace and beauty.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house features facilities for disabled guests. A clean little sanctuary up in the mountains! A nice spaced room and bathroom, windows that look out onto the village and mountain and a full, big kitchen. Everything was exceptionally clean, I could stay here and recharge for weeks!

The country house offers mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. This was an amazing place to stay during our holidays. Cozy, clean and with an incredible atmosphere. Elsa is really kind and passionate about what she does. I hope one day we can come back!

Located in Seia, Chao do Rio - Turismo de Aldeia features rustic homes, as well as an outdoor biologic swimming pool and free bicycles. The traditional stone-built units are inserted in natural surroundings which include a garden and a flock of sheep. Beautiful place with great hikes nearby. They offer free bikes to ride around the town. You can pet and feed the animal. The frogs croak and hop happily around. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The home is clean and comfortable. They also provide you with ingredient to cook yourself breakfast every morning. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a more rural experience of Portugal.
