We were located at the apartments called Santa Luzia, close to the hotel (not at the hotel itself). The apartment was really cleaned, with a separated bedroom, and very functional. The location was close to the main attractions points and it was very quiet as well. The breakfast from the hotel was good. The host Carlos made our trip more enjoyable by recommending nice places to go to, as well as free park spaces close to the location (which was very useful!). Highly recommended for a nice stay in the city.

Very charming, family-run hotel in the hills of the Douro Valley with not only an extraordinary view on the bending river. But most strikingly - the house has personality which obviously reflects the owner’s passion for place, history and intimacy. Vintage items, personal photos here and there makes you feel like staying at a friends’ place who also has lovely recommendations at hand when you look for places to explore. And if you want to just relax and enjoy the view - the hotel’s pool and the surrounding terraces are just perfect to calm down. Moreover: one of us was sick during our stay - and the hosts were super helpful, understanding and supporting, this was extraordinary. Thank you so much!

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. A warm welcome by the receptionist who showed us round this beautifully restored farmhouse. Our room was immaculately clean & had everything you would need. We made use of the comfortable lounge & the free tea & coffee on offer. The tables at breakfast were beautifully laid with baskets of bread & plenty of options on offer at the buffet table. We absolutely loved staying here & wished we had booked more than one night.

I like everything of Esposende Guesthouse. Very spacious common room, kitchen. As we were on Camino, got a chance to meet other pilgrims when cooking and dining in kitchen. Very good facilities. Convenient location. Our room got river view and a big terrace. Very comfortable. The owner was very attentive and helpful. She ran into the house late night to help when I asked for extra blankets.
