Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. The 3-time award-winning 5-star hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a garden, as well as panoramic views over the city. This was our favorite hotel. We had a balcony which was well worth the extra cost and would recommend. Wonderful helpful staff who organized a wine tour for us.. great breakfast, comfy bed.. couldn’t ask for more. Although the location is up a hill, Ubers are cheap if you don’t want to walk it and the view is worth it.

Offering a children's and an adults' outdoor swimming pool, the property is an 11-minute drive from the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança. A gem! The room and all other facilities were great, and the staff were simply amazing. Hope to come again!
