It features an outdoor pool with solarium and sun loungers. Teresa is the best host we ever had, she was sweet and very welcoming. Breakfast she made was excellent, fresh scrambled eggs and french toast. We also tried her tasty homemade jam. The view of the ocean from the property is amazing. Room was clean and nice with a large balcony. Can’t wait to come back for more days.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Sometimes we received fresh avocado from the garden with breakfast.

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. Everything was perfect – a truly authentic experience. I loved the idea of trust: you can take food or drinks from the hotel’s shop or bar, mark it down, and pay at the end. In the morning, breakfast ingredients are delivered so you can cook yourself, which makes it feel more like staying in a home than a hotel. The location is stunning – probably the best spot for sunsets on Madeira, in a quiet, non-touristy area surrounded by nature. With only six cottages, privacy is guaranteed. The cottages are decorated in a cozy rustic style, very clean, with vintage furniture that adds charm. In 5 minutes by car are some of the best restaurants we tried on the island, plus even a specialty coffee shop. It’s also a perfect base to explore the northwest, southwest, and central parts of Madeira. Out of four accommodations we stayed in during our trip, this was by far the best.

I had a truly memorable stay at Quinta das Malvas – Quinta de Santa Luzia in Funchal. The villa is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by a blooming garden that adds to the peaceful and charming atmosphere. The location is also excellent – quiet, yet within easy reach of the city center. What made the stay extra special was the wonderful host, Margarida. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. And her pastéis de nata...😋 It was a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. I’d love to return one day and can only recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira.

Boasting mountain views, Herdade do Pedregal provides accommodation with patio, around 20 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Very comfortable stay, the place is lovely and comfy. I recommend if you are looking for a quitet place to get some rest after a day full of sightseeing. The place is also located near nice spots like Teleférico das Achadas da Cruz, Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools,, Miradouro Ilheus da Ribeira da Janela, PR6 Levada das 25 Fontes, Parque Florestal do Fanal (a rented car needed). I would definitely stay here again :)
