I am appreciative that a staff (whom I could not remember his name) helped me to exchange some kyat (1000 and 500) banknotes for personal collection. I have been searching for those two notes for years. He was willing to partake. Going the extra mile for guests is the highest form of hospitality spirit. Thank you. To me, tourism and business encourages cultural exchanges and economic benefits which can uplift the livelihood of the average Burmese families. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights out of a total of 7 days in Yangon. Yangon and certain key cities like Mandalay are safe. The hotel is definitely secure. The weaponization of tourism via travel advisories has caused upheaval to the average Burmese who has nothing to do with the ongoing conflict. I encourage tourists and business people alike to visit Yangon, and consider Royal Lake Hotel.
