The bed was large and fabulous. The shower was lovely. The AC worked great. Lovely little terrace, we had a nice meal there and our breakfast. Hot tub in the room was neat. Location was great, could walk everywhere. We LOVED alghero. What a beautiful town. The sunset was stunning. We loved walking around the old town and around the seawalls. Wish we had of stayed 2-3 nights in this town. One of our favorite towns in Sardinia. Grocery store just down from the apartment and fruit stand downstairs. complimentary water in the fridge was nice :)

Carloforte is an ancient Genovese colony on the beautiful island of San Pietro, just off the coast of Sardinia. It has clean, white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and charming historic centres. The location is absolutely exquisite! Right at the seaside and the marina of Carloforte! The design and amenities are fantastic - very large double bed, even the sofa-bed was comfortable enough. Enormous bathroom with everything you need. The breakfast was also great - fresh fruits, great cheese and ham, freshly baked croissants and cakes. The staff speaks very good English and are really nice and helpful. They recommended a fantastic bistrot nearby with discount by the hotel for dinner with fresh local fish, traditional meals and the best tiramisu we ever tried in Sardinia.

Surrounded by small gardens, Park Hotel Asinara is a 10-minute walk from Stintino town centre. It features air-conditioned accommodation and a free shuttle to La Pelosa beach.

With free Wi-Fi, Sardinian-style rooms at the Asinara have a satellite flat-screen TV, a minibar and tiled floors. The private bathroom is complete with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The stay was fantastic overall! The location was great, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A big highlight was the free shuttle service to La Pelosa beach, super convenient if you don’t want to pay for parking €1.50/€2 per hour. Giancarlo, the driver, was lovely and made sure to pick us up on the way back. The rooms were very spacious, with a comfortable bed and strong air conditioning. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the cleaning staff were happy to tidy up the room daily if needed. The breakfast buffet was another great feature, offering a wide variety of options, both sweet and savoury, including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries, and yoghurts. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful sea view was such a treat. There’s also a pool at the hotel (we didn’t use it, but it looked like a decent size).

Set in rich parkland with palm trees in Santa Margherita di Pula, on Sardinia’s southern coast, Hotel Costa dei Fiori offers 2 seawater swimming pools, a restaurant, a café and elegant and refined rooms. Parking is free. We were very well welcomed and cared for during our stay. The accommodation was beautiful, the room and pool areas and the nature around. This resort is just 10” drive from the beautiful city of Pula. Exceptional breakfast as well as possibility of lunch and diner in the resort. Definitely considering the location again if we are to return to Sardegna.
