For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. The breakfast was amazing. All of the staff were incredible - Angelo, Francesca and Manuela made us feel so at home, while also making it feel like a luxury experience. The room was rustic and stunning. Although it rained while we were there there was an amazing hot tub overlooking the lake and we enjoyed hot coffees and later Prosecco outside and took in the views. It is a very special place with authentic rustic luxury, also we loved being away from the hectic touristy area of Varenna- it’s super close for a day trip via ferry or train, but if you are looking to relax this is definitely a better option.

They easily accommodated an extra night for us at the last minute, served a lovely breakfast and he even gave us a ride to the train station in the morning! If you are staying for a few nights, the apartment is great, very roomy and a nice kitchen setup. We were on foot and even though it’s a little out of town, it’s not a hard walk or the bus stop is only a few minutes away. We highly recommend staying there!!
