The view across Sorrento to Mount Vesuvius was breathtaking. They provided an excellent breakfast that suited everyones taste. They also provided a great choice of evening meals. Even though the hotel was high above Sorrento it did not mean that you were isolated as the hotel provided a shuttle bus, which operated regularly; early enough to meet any early tours; late enough to enjoy a night out without rushing to meet the shuttle.

Villa Julia is a farmhouse with a large park of citrus groves and vineyards in the heart of Pompeii. Rooms are air conditioned and most feature balconies overlooking Mount Vesuvius. So beautiful, well equipped, wonderful surroundings
