Everything was exceptional at this hotel, from the very warm welcome, our modern ,comfortable and spotlessly clean room ,delicious food at dinner and very informative send off the following morning. The Excelsior - Small Luxury Hotels of the World is Thessaloniki’s one and only member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, located right at the heart of Thessaloniki. Free WiFi is available throughout. The guy at the reception was so welcoming. He even gave us a really good room upgrade option which we gladly accepted. The room was facing the main street but it was so quiet. Also, you had the impression that they had a limited choice at the buffet breakfast, but, they also presented us with a menu of things you could order. The menu was rich and food was delicious. Greatly recommend the hotel.

Makedonia Palace is situated right on the seafront and next to Thessaloniki City Centre and features two restaurants of high taste. All suites and rooms are lavishly decorated, including a satellite TV and free WiFi. Overall experience of the view and comfort in the room. New years gala lunch was amazing kudos to the chefs!!!

Great hotel on the waterfront (walkway). Quiet because it was off-season. Staff was fantastic. Make sure you try dinner in the restaurant, the staff and food were excellent there. Location was good, close to the airport and easy to then drive to other destinations in Halkidiki. The included breakfast had plenty of Greek goodies, all well prepared. Many tasty things to pick from. Nice views from the room.
