The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped (fridge, induction hob, glasses, plates, Nespresso coffee machine, cutlery and even a corkscrew! Evita and Maria’s care and attention to detail make the Athina Guesthouse a very special place. Fresh towels every day, new tea, coffee and breakfast supplies. Five stars +! We got back to Athens today, and we’re already planning our next stay at the Athina. It’s a lovely, lovely place.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Miranda. The building, the patio, the breakfast, the staff were just perfect and made our stay at Hydra even better.
