We had a lovely stay at the Old Parsonage, and regret we couldn’t stay longer. We truly felt at home in this historic house and noticed lots of small attentions that made us enjoy our time even more. We also gladly followed one of the supper recommandations given by James. Thanks to him, we also discovered England’s smallest city: Wells. Special mention for the breakfast, one of the most succulent we had!

Two Rivers Lodge is set one mile from the historic town of Chepstow, close to the A48 Road. It features a restaurant, an outdoor eating area and a children’s play area. We enjoyed a very tasty dinner in the restaurant as well as breakfast in the more casual area next morning. The room was well appointed though not a lot of floor space for our 2 large suitcases. There was very easy access from the car. The breakfast had plenty of choice and make your own cappuccino etc machines as well as boiling water for tea.
