The hotel is perfectly located on the harbor and we had a splendid view of the harbor from our windows. The room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, including the terrific mattress for a good night's sleep. It had a nice sitting area for reading and watching the news. The bathroom was large and supplied with Chopard amenities. The adjacent restaurant George's serves a very nice breakfast and a wonderful dinner.

This hotel is located in the heart of La Couarde-sur-Mer near a bird sanctuary and 500 metres from the sea. It offers en suite rooms, a bar and free WiFi.

Rooms at Hotel Le Vieux Gréement are equipped with a telephone, TV and private bathroom. They overlook the patio or courtyard. Super comfortable beds, lovely decor, very friendly staff/owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Car parking close by which was free for our stay (late sept). Nice continental breakfast.

Le Martray is renovating its spaces. Take advantage now of its restaurant and its new Marais and Océan Supérieur rooms. Absolutely beautiful hotel with lovely, clean, comfortable rooms. Mine had a small balcony overlooking the ocean. The shower was great and the restaurant was fabulous. Right opposite the beach. It was so good, I stayed for an extra night!

Each cottage has a living room and a private terrace. The kitchen includes a microwave, stove and a fridge. Quiet but very close to port town. Clean. Lovely pool almost exclusively to ourselves.

There is also an outdoor swimming pool at this property. The staff, ambience, design, facilities, all set in a beautiful location was tranquil and beautifully planted with well chosen furnishings inside and out. Having spa facilities was perfect and we had some lovely relaxing, luxurious treatments. Our room looked out towards the water which felt very calm and we could hear the sounds of the sea. We loved the steam room and salt water indoor and outdoor pools were lovely and warm with water jets.
