This is a fantastic hotel. Well placed and super super friendly staff. Bike friendly and I would recommend to Anyone making a trip over the Pyrenees to stop here. I had to leave early but a delicious breakfast had been prepared. If you judge a hotel based on how you are treated then you will not find a better place. Quite simply one of the most genuinely welcoming places I have been to.

The checkin and checkout were friendly and easy. The property is serene and beautiful. Great location for walking the historic town, hiking and the train to Val de Nüria. Parking was easy.

Situated in a mountainous area 4 km from Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Les Planes del Grau offers rooms with heating and free WiFi. We loved how clean and charming the hotel was. The staff was exceptionaly friendly. Can't wait to come back one day!

Hostal La Placeta is located in Camprodón, Girona, 20 km from Vallter 2000 Ski slopes. It has rooms with heating and private bathroom. The sweet owner made sure I had the most comfortable stay at her hostel. Despite me not speaking Spanish she was able to explain hiking-routes and sight-seeings around the area. The breakfast is lovely, made by the owner (the cakes was excellent) and the breakfast also included local delicacies. The room was small but perfectly comfortable and clean.

Housed in an old manor house, Hotel Angelats is a hotel surrounded by nature. It features a restaurant serving organic and local cuisine and a free private parking on-site. Calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Meals were excellent. Very pleasant staff. Will definitely go back.

The apartment is part of a rural house with it's own private entrance and is completely separate from the house so it felt like we were in a separate house. The apartment is absolutely lovely with thick stone walls and surrounded by an enormous garden. There is a lovely area to eat outside with views of the pyrnees. There is an outside barbecue but it is in a separate garden where the rural house is located. We chose to use the barbecue/ fireplace inside the apartment as it was bigger and it worked perfectly. We ate at the restaurant and the paella de muntanya was amazing. Overall, our stay was extremely peaceful. The location is about a 20 minute drive from the closest town Ribes de Freser where you can buy groceries. Since the location is so far into the Pyrnees, it is incredibly peaceful and went above and beyond our expectations.

Set in Rocabruna Valley, Casa Etxalde is situated 8 km from Camprodón in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is surrounded by green gardens and an outdoor swimming pool. Absolutely stunning- the building and view were a highlight of the trip. Def worth getting the room with mountain view and balcony- we had sunny, stormy and rainy weather and the view was incredible no matter what
