The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast perfect, location perfect with direct access to Hochfelln mountain. But really what made this special for us was the welcoming nature of the hosts.

The Kloster, stunningly located, has been beautifully and tastefully decorated in a style consistent with the history of the building. Had a small, but very comfortable room with beautiful views. The service is excellent and friendly, and the hotel with its large grounds is a place of beauty, wellbeing and calm. Would love to come back and stay longer!

Very charming hotel, full of history. The building seems to have been there in various forms for centuries. The rooms are a little old fashioned and the bathroom quite basic (by modern standards) but it was clean and had everything we needed. We were on a bike tour and arrived wet and muddy and were able to wash our bikes and keep them in the shed. We were able to have dinner at a place about 2km away that we walked to. The breakfast was amazing- a really rich selection in the beautiful dining room.
