Very large and modern with some vintage touches. Suites are huge and well equipped with tablet to operate everything. Nice sugar bar, wine bar, multiple kitchens, really nice spa. Staff is really good and sincerely polite and helpful.

Close to a lot of passes and roads for motorcycle riding

All rooms in the Gästehaus Schäfli offer views over the Reuss River and the wooded Alpine surroundings. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building. The room was cozy with comfortable beds. The shower was nice and had good water pressure. The breakfast was excellent! The staff was accommodating to my daughter who cannot have gluten and offered gluten free granola for breakfast.

You can sample fondue specialities while sitting on the restaurant’s terrace. The Gemsstockbahn Cable Car is 200 metres away. Very beautiful building with great rooms. Excellent staff and location.

Hotel & Restaurant zum Schwarzen Bären is located at the entrance to Andermatt. In the winter it is walking distance to the Gemsstock cable car station where the ski bus stops that takes you to the Nätschen Gondola station. Further, it is a 2 min walk to the center of town where you can find all necessary services. It was meticulous. The staff were wonderful - Johan and Daniel. They were so helpful with sightseeing info and very pleasant.
