The hotel itself is gorgeous - out of a fairytale. The staff was amazing. The Salavaux/Vully area is so special. We rented a vespa from the hotel and drove around the countryside - and the hotel packed us a picnic lunch of cheese, ham, bread and wine. The staff helped us find the best wineries nearby. We had an incredible dinner at the hotel our first night. I couldn't say enough amazing things about our stay here.

Situated in Murten, 24 km from Bern, Schloss Münchenwiler features free WiFi access. Private parking is available on-site. Especially breakfast, room was also ok but I didn't find any channel in English or French in the TV. I was looking at the Olympics and it was ok in German this time.

Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. Fantastic room, very western in the sense that the bathroom was huge and the mattress topper actually created a real king bed feel, versus just two twins shoved together. Private terrace was a huge plus for morning coffee. Great craft soaps/shampoo. I look forward to staying at the Adler again!

The variety and quality was excellent and the views from the breakfast area were spectacular. Best breakfast of our holiday (across multiple accommodations).
