One of my favorite hotel stays ever. The hotel itself is gorgeous - out of a fairytale. The staff was amazing. The Salavaux/Vully area is so special. We rented a vespa from the hotel and drove around the countryside - and the hotel packed us a picnic lunch of cheese, ham, bread and wine. The staff helped us find the best wineries nearby. We had an incredible dinner at the hotel our first night. I couldn't say enough amazing things about our stay here.

The hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Especially breakfast, room was also ok but I didn't find any channel in English or French in the TV. I was looking at the Olympics and it was ok in German this time.

This 3-star Murtenhof & Krone hotel in a Medieval patrician residence in the old town of Murten features a terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Murten.

The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and is situated at the entrance to the old town, directly beside the castle. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dinner was very good. Location was perfect as we were driving and wanted to be in the old town, but have parking.
