If one could award this establishment 6* I would ( and believe me, I am particular!)
The perfectly designed studio, with separate bedroom and bathroom, was exceedingly spacious, exceptionally well presented, scrupulously clean and well-equipped ( we cooked a 3 course meal).
We booked breakfast, and our host, Carmen, was attentive and totally absorbed in attending to every detail. The tray of delights was brought to our room at the agreed time, and was superb!!! She even asked "how would you like your eggs....😀

It is incredible value for the room that you are given - we had so much space for two people and with the kitchen we could make ourselves drinks. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the room really comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, great location, family room with mountain view was perfect for us. The staff was super friendly. I would also recommend to have dinner and breakfast there. The fondue is beautiful. We were sad to leave.

Spacious room with a comfy double, upgraded for a balcony view. Everything was clean, the staff were super helpful. 2 minutes from the main town. If I visited again, I would 100% stay here.

Renovated, Clean, Modern & Convenient Hotel near the Historic Gate, 10 Min Walk to the City Center. Bed is Confy, Breakfast is great with local specialities. Parking on site available, has charging docks for e-Mobility, 24h Desk, Complimentary Water in the Room. Good choice for Fribourg! I Always stay here, will come back, nothing to complain.

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful.
The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

The decor of the hotel was consistently romantic and cosy from top to bottom, the wooden features made it feel instantly homely and warm, especially with the sound of the floor boards at the breakfast room. It was a lovely summer stay in the mountains but I can imagine would be extra cute in the winter. Food was brilliant, and staff so hospitable.

Great location right at the gate of the mediaval town. Rooms are spacious with nice views, decoration is rustic & goes with the theme. Have parking space if you are coming by car. They have a nice restaurant on site, the staff was friendly & helpful. We had a lovely time.
