Guests can make use of the picnic area or the terrace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. The secluded location and the views of the stars at night and the valley by day were spectacular. Marjory and Greg and amazing hosts - friendly, warm, and kind. Breakfast was perfect for our stay and our dinner of lamb shanks was amazing!! Thanking you both.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Illalangi Boutique Cottage provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. The property is non-smoking and is located 14 km from Katoomba Scenic World. Absolutely fantastic cottage which was even more charming than I'd imagined. The attention to detail was wonderful and there was always something new to spot around the cottage, be it an interesting old picture or a vintage camera. Charm overload and great amenities - everything you need if you plan to cook there... or simply make some breakfast with a quality kettle and toaster! Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Valley of the Waters B&B in Wentworth Falls provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The room was so clean and the view is absolutely amazing. Was even able to see a starry night as the weather was nice. Would definitely come back if I come to the Blue Mountains again!

The hotel has beautifully appointed rooms on three levels, which are accessible via staircases however if you prefer a ground floor level, be sure to make your preference known when booking as there are no lifts available given the hotel is a heritage building. It was in a beautiful, restored building, where the receptionist told us some of its history

High Mountains Inn Blackheath is a short 10-minute stroll to Blackheath village, where there are many restaurants and cafes. The Three Sisters at Echo Point is 10 minutes’ drive away. Staff were great, helped with site seeing and gave recommendations on resteraunts etc.

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. It features fine dining and casual dining options, multiple bars and a performance space. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

The restaurant service and food was fantastic..The staff professional, welcoming, and ensured you had everything you needed. The quietness and environment was so relaxing. This hotel will be one of my most memorable stays in Australia.. superb.
