Beautiful views can also be enjoyed from the lakeside terrace. Charming hotel in a perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the lake (the view is unbeatable). Excellent restaurant and delicious breakfast. The town and lake offer a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. A small alpaca farm is also on site, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Quite area, helpful staff, family like feeling and pleasent feeling to the hotel.

The modern rooms and apartments have a balcony with lake or mountain views, free WiFi access, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. Great accommodation, very clean, Florian the host was amazing and gave us his time when asking questions. With lots of good local information. Our room (third floor) had an amazing view. Certainly a great place to stay.

Reiterhof Suassbauer is just 100 metres from Lake Wolfgang and 800 metres from the centre of St. Wolfgang. It offers a riding school and riding opportunities with Iceland horses. Each room has a balcony overlooking the lake.

Guests of the Suassbauer Reiterhof can relax in a sun bed, and play table tennis. A ski storage room is available. Amazing place. Amazing location. Friendly host!

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. It offers free WiFi and provides bicycles free of charge. A private beach a 20-minute walk away.

Guests can play table tennis and relax in the garden. Free private parking is available on site. Felt just like home :) very welcoming owners

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Guests have panoramic mountain and lake views. Free WiFi is available. Hostess was very welcoming and helpful. She helped us with all of our extra needs, just one example of many - when we were late in arriving and checking in she said it was no problem and helped us search for some take away pizza. The place itself is amazing, great breakfast, the area is beautiful with many bicycle roads, close to the lake and a ferry station and a few minutes drive to some lovely towns and attractions

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental.

Guests of the Fürberg Hotel can relax in a sauna and a steam bath. Hiking equipment and packed lunches can be provided on request. Free private parking is available on site. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

The Cortisen am See offers individually furnished rooms with lake or mountain views, a lobby bar, and a cigar lounge bar. Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. Excellent hotel in a fantastic location.
