Romantic Hotels in Wilkes-Barre

Woodlands is always a good time ! Was there for anniversary weekend. Jake the bartender at creacenzos on Friday is always great! Then Saturday shuttle to mohegan for gambling and Ruth's Chris. Back.to hotel for nightcap. Sunday morning brunch at Bank and Vine then the river grillel for ALL the NFL games. Again back to woodlands for nightcap! Oh and almost forgot Shogun sat afternoon for sushi!!!! Love it!!!!!

It is a very interesting, unusual and beautiful hotel. We liked the 2 restaurants and the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful when we were exploring different areas. The stream was so relaxing after a long day of travel. The room was small, well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

The bar area overlooking the gorge was a lovely relaxing space, staff warm, friendly and attentive. Rooms and common spaces were all with a good standard of cleanliness. Helpful reception staff.

The staff are well-trained and very responsive to guests and all their needs. The location is in an attractive area that you can enjoy walking around. My spouse is a smoker, so for him the casino and smoking areas were a plus. We came because we had been there once before with my spouse's niece. This time we were celebrating our third wedding anniversary and could meet the niece there.

The staff is friendly, the place is beautiful, it was a very relaxing get away
