A nice Swedish house and villa apartment. We were upgraded to much better, nice apartment with little outdoor seating and own large garden. Very central. Host very nice. Both filter and nespresso capsule coffe machines. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (no hairdryer).

We have spent the most wonderful days and nights at Drotting Victorias Hotell & Vilohem. Already upon arrival, our host welcomed us very warmly and made us feel comfortable, welcome and at home. The place is peacefully located on the stunning island of Öland, amidst fields, nature and with the current Royal residence Solliden and the Borgholm Slottsruin as neighbours. Guests will admire and love the rich history of the building and surroundings, as we did very much. The place, with its interior, just breathes this royal atmosphere. We spent our (3) nights in the annex next to the main building, with a very spacious bedroom and ballroom sized bathroom. All luxury was there, so was the peace and quiet needed for a good rest after days of exploring Öland. The menus offered are very very tasty and the service is just excellent, from early morning till late evening. We cannot thank the staff enough and wish our travel schedule had allowed us more time on the premises too, as during Summer, afternoon tea is also offered on specific days, which must be amazing to have in this setting. Something to go back for, as this place captured our hearts and left a lasting memory. Thank you for everything!!

Great location and great accomodation : free prking on the street, very good buffet breakfast, the room and the private bathroom were perfect and very quiet, with everything included. Very reccomended for a relaxing time.

My way of traveling can be challenging for hosts, as I book spontaneously on the spot. The host was very easy to reach by phone and made everything possible. She was exceptionally friendly, communication was possible in English and German. She gave good tips and explained everything I needed to know. The accommodation is excellently equipped. There is a large comunity room (a living room), two terraces and cozy rooms. Everything is very lovingly furnished. Bringing a dog was no problem. In addition, the house is located next to a very nice forest, so it is quite and perfect for walks.

The place is amazing. The view is breathtaking, it's so quit and beautiful. The sea is right out the door and the bistro and caffee are 5 minutes away. People are so nice and so friendly. The room is clean, comfortable bed. I would definitely love to go back!

The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained including their surrounding gardens. Great and peaceful location, clean and comfortable room to rest in. The staff is super kind and helpful, we loved staying at Herrgård, despite our short visit there! Would definitely return when we get the chance!
