The staff were phenomenal - Angela, Andrea and Sonia. The gardens are so beautifully kept and produce an oasis of peace. The place is located in town, not far from Mateus Castle But you would never know. But the grounds are extensive and a tranquil river runs alongside. The two swimming pools are a delight. We stayed in the main house the first night and then an apartment for two, as we liked to cook. The breakfast was very tasty. We also had Tapas and wine on one of the evenings which was lovely.

The stay was amazing, the breakfast very diverse and delicious. the pool was clean and the dogs were a big plus! Absolutely loved it.

We loved everything about this hotel. Dont judge a book by its cover...the outside and area do not do it justice. Inside, the hotel has paid attention to detail, everything you need in the rooms for a comfortable stay. Immaculately clean The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptionally good with, local.produce and seasonal fresh fruits. It is within walking distance of Vila Real.

This is my second stay at the Miracorgo. Although a large hotel it doesn't feel souless - just a quietly well-run hotel. Fantastic position with lovely views of the forest, pleasant rooms with really comfy beds and pillows. Friendly and helpful staff from cleaners to reception.

This was such a charming quinta to stay at! The swimming pool was my favourite part, with some lovely views over the vineyards. The building itself was full of character, taking us back in time. Marco was welcoming and a lovely host. We would love to come back!

Everyhing was perfect. The hosts were very welcoming, the atmosphere at the hotel is very cozy, feels like home. The facilities were also great - the pool and jacuzzi were very nice even in the colder season (we were here in March). Very nice and filling breakfast - toast, eggs, hams, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit, freshly baked scones and pies etc… The room is minimalistic, with stylish furniture, all you need. Overall feel at the hotel is that a lot of thought and heart went into it. The location is beautiful - amazing views from the room as well as beautiful nature and attractions nearby.

Delfim Douro Hotel was in one word Fantastic, even with a minor incident, what the staff directly and very professional corrected. The moment you walk in, the staff is there. With all the friendly help and the pre-checking was quickly. Everything was in my eyes perfect. We loved also that the hotel helped employees with a handicap, to see the Hotel is not afraid to have employee in a in the wheelchair, who solved our little problem with all the professionalism you can get. The restaurant was great, good food for a decent price, good variety wine and loved the desert, Florest chocolate, you have to try it. :-)
