I could right a novelle of this place, but I´ll try to be short: It is the very best hotel I´ve stayed in in whole my life, 98 countries visited. Of course it´s subjective, and you can find a lot of hard-luxury ones, but if: You are not into big resorts You are not into too (I mean WAY TOO) fancy and luxurious places If you ARE into relaxing, calm, discreet, stylish, neatly designed small boutique hotels with a GREAT restaurants for the dinner and the best breakfasts you can imagine; If you are into the places where you feel the staff to be your friends, not servants; If the view from your room´s window is importnat for you; If you like little (or not so little) surprises :) Then this is the place I can recommend the most. I´ve been to hundreds different hotels, but this is the palce we will be dreaming of. Go and get this experience yourself.

Great location right on the river. You will need to walk up the stairs a bit to get to the center, but we enjoy the extra activity. Really nice breakfast!

We had incredible staying in this apartment, it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed for 2 nights, but there everything you need for even for longer staying. Apartment is clean and just in the middle of the old town, but very quite. we slept well without any disturbing. We reserved underground Parking ahead for additional costs, so we felt comfortable to leave car and discover Porto. In addition, we would like to express our gratitude to Antonio for his hospitality and attention. Thanks to him, we felt how friendly and welcoming people are in Portugal. If we have the chance to visit Porto again we will definitely stay here.

- central localisation with a nice balcony view. - the room was spacious, clean, with a large bed - we had a dressing room and more than enough space - a nice, clean bathroom with a Bath tub - everyday somebody was cleaning our room - the breakfast was really good (nice sortments of cheese , warm bread and croissants or different type of cakes). During the day we had free coffee , Tea or sweets . - the staff was really nice and polite and they recommended us nice places

The food at the hotel was very good, the choices at breakfast were varied and were excellent. On two evenings we had dinner at the restaurant El Basilico and the food was outstanding. The location is very convenient and is walking distance to the major sights ie the market, Time Out the church the famous bookstore and the Majestic Cafe. Excellent staff, very attentive and responsive. I would like to mention Pedro at the front desk, he really went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent stay.

Our room was clean and big enough for two people, with a private bathroom. It was also great that we could use the kitchen and the living room too.
