It was a long hot walk at the end of a hiking day on the Fisherman's Trail (we could have taken a taxi) but so glad we had booked here. Loved our room - and the thoughtful decanter of port. The pool is gorgeous as are the grounds. Breakfast was one of the top two on our two week Portugal trip. Would highly recommend.

it is a wonderful oasis couple of km off the Fishermen’s trail and Zambujeira do Mar (but there is a taxi service), nice place to relax. The wonderful lady Carmo takes care of the property and guests (and spoiled us every morning with some extra treats).

Very helpful host (German, Portuguese, English spoken). Good location (rural setting, close to coast, a comfortable drive from Faro). Beautiful and interesting gardens. My first floor room had a private balcony. Everything tidy and cleaned daily.
