Fantastic location, managed by an elderly couple, who made us feel as welcome guests during our stay. We had a room with an enormous terrace and breathtaking views of the Douro River canyon and Cathedral.

Everything. Very quiet. Perfect relaxation for first days of holidays after very busy work month. Maria rocks. The owner is making good marmalade. :-) It is renovated old house with several rooms and apartments. The renovation is really perfect. A lot of locations inside the property where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy a glass of wine during the hot part of the day. We were there alone and it was a kind of magic.
