Very friendly an helpful staff, checking on you constantly, wanting to know if everything was ok. Room was comfortable, clean, I had to wait for a hot water to come for a while, but it always did. Breakfast was good, plenty of choises. The area felt safe.

Hotel is located in the heart of touristic area, about 10 min walk from Durbar square. A lot of shops and places to eat in the area. Very cosy boutique hotel, designed in authentic nepali style with carved dark wooden windows, furniture and even lamps in shape of stupas. Rooms are comfortable, decent size, and very clean. AC in the rooms. Elevator is available. Nice breakfast with selections of bread, coffee, eggs, fruits and pastry. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Manager Prabin have arranged my itinerary for the full stay - including city tour in Kathmandu, a trip to Pokhara with flights, stay and city sightseeing, and trekking tour. Everything was done with exceptional attention to details and care.

Apsara Boutique Hotel is located in Kathmandu, 1.4 km from Hanuman Dhoka and 1.5 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The hotel has a terrace and views of the mountains.

Very welcoming and peaceful Tibetan Buddhist hotel. Lovely rooms, prayer flags flying, sound bowls in the room, gated entrance, prayer wheels, great indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant, beautiful potted plants, yoga and spa including sound healing. Handy to both Bouddha Stupa and Phulbari Monastery. I easily walked to both (Stupa is closer).

Located within 4.4 km of Hanuman Dhoka and 5 km of Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Museum provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kathmandu.

Green Orchid Hotel is located at the end of a quiet street on the edge of Thamel. Everything you could want is within walking distance. The property itself is clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful, even allowing me to store luggage when I went for a two week hike. I couldn't have had a better stay.
