Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!

Great location - saw the northern lights and views are very pretty. Room was big and comfy. Heaters worked very well and kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. All in all a perfect stay for us!

This place far exceeded our expectations. You enter your room directly from the outside so you never bother neighbours. The exterior wall is mostly glass with beautiful views. The room is very comfortable and the beds had to be the best in the trip, even the floor was comfortable! The bathroom was large and had everything. We didn't miss a thing! And the shared spaces are marvelous too, the dining room is very pleasant and well equipped, you have a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave as well as dishes and cutlery. The woman who prepares breakfast (she arrived as we left) was very helpful and agreeable too. I only wish our stay had been longer!

Absolutely wonderful! Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service. The hotel is very well located for any road trip in the South of the country or if you drive via the Ring road. Next to all points of interest nearby: Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, Hofn etc. The room we booked was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, lovely staff, the hotel is very spacious in the middle of nature with mountain and field views and had also nice facilities. We recommend it more than 100% and will definitely book there again if we come back to South Iceland.
