My room was very nice and comfortable. Hotel was clean and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the botanical gardens. The food at the restaurant was very good. I would like to mention that the staff were very helpful. Akureyri is a nice place to visit and you can take a day trip to Grimsey Island.

very cozy and comfortable room, although with a shared bathroom and kitchen but we had it almost for ourselves. we felt as if we were sleeping at home. the room was furnish with a great taste, everything matched, the host put lots of atention to get everything on place. the kitchen was equipped very well, the hot tube was clean and really hot. very friendly and beautiful cat. 20 minutes away from Dalvik.

We felt more than welcome. The owner spoiled us with delicious breakfasts and dinner (local products!). The guesthouse is perfectly located - close enough to Akureyri but you still get this "in the middle of nowhere"/"close to nature" experience. The rooms are immaculately clean and super comfortable. We loved visiting the sheep farm, cuddling all the dogs at work, hearing all the stories about living in Iceland, but what we loved the most was Elizabeth's (owner) passion and her genuine hospitality. We totally recommend staying here and we are definitely coming back!

This was a terrific place to stay, large, clean, and comfortable, it was by far the best place of the 5 places we booked, it was an actual apartment that you could spend time in. We both really loved it. Netflix available to log into on the TV. The kitchen was well-provisioned with everything you could need. Bedroom was great for me and my friend, and the bed was large enough for two friends to sleep in without getting in each other's way. It's excellently placed for going down the hill into town or up the hill for supermarkets, it's also virtually opposite the swimming pool and within walking distance of the zip line place. We had a lovely stay. There was a bit of confusion in that Booking.com send PINs but it is not the one from the owners so it doesn't open the lock. But they did responded really quickly.
