Central location. Excellent friendly staff. Clean and great aircon in our room. Food in The Rise restaurant was absolutely delicious (we both had the beef wellington), washed down with a fabulous Shiraz. The cooked breakfast was also really delicious and set us up for the day. We were also given an upgrade because it was our wedding anniversary - the homemade chocolates and hand written card were a lovely touch.

From walking in the staff were lovely, whilst we waited to check in we had a drink in the bar overlooking the racecourse. The room we had was upgraded and spacious. Everything clean and robes provided. Had access to the pool/sauna facilities. Breakfast had great choice and was cooked well. Overall a very relaxing stay and look forward to return / visit more Marriott Group hotels!

Location was good. Breakfast is fine. Hotel is very lovely, cozy and British. Clean and tidy every very. So silent and relaxing. Decoration has the spirit. Perfect stay as a family.

The staff were extremely welcoming, with everyone going above and beyond to make us comfortable. We had a lovely evening in the bar, with the bar staff making us custom mocktails which were delicious!
We upgraded to the executive suite on the day and it was worth the £20 upgrade from standard. The walk in double shower was lovely and the extra room on the top floor really made us relax. Brilliant stay from start to finish and we will 100% stay again!

The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The rooms and facilities are very good value for money. The bar is comfortable and relaxing for a cocktail or coffee. Brisk 10 minute walk to the city centre which was perfect.

The facilities were great and the staff were incredible, was upgraded when we arrived which was lovely as it was a my girlfriends birthday and a surprise engagement trip
