The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it. Very beautiful farmhouse and garden. Though close to Manchester Airport, the place is very quiet. Excellent location if you travel to/from Manchester Airport but you will need a car to get there. Delicious breakfast. Owners are very helpful and made sure we had a pleasant stay.
