The owners and staff are amazing. It is such a relaxing and peaceful place. Food is also lovely. Room is clean and regularly checked by staff. The history of the place is fascinating. The grounds are lovely to walk around. Would highly recommend The Roman Camp. We have been here numerous times for 5 days at a time

Francesca was very welcoming on our arrival. The house was very clean and had a very nice fresh smell, It was very homely so made us feel very relaxed. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty, with a good selection of juices, cereals and some lovely yogurt with fresh fruit, just what we needed before a day of hiking! The bed was comfortable and the bedding was very warm.
We would stay again!

This is a lovely luxury hotel, our room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and good shower. Delicious dinner and breakfast too.

It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff very attentive and breakfast was really good, kept me going all day. Lunch on the day of arrival was lovely in the lounge, warm and comfortable.
