We went to the folk festival. I decided to stay in luxury for the weekend! The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly.

Food was really very good. Either eat from daily changing table d'hote with 4/5 choices or bar menu.

Rooms extremely clean
Nice lounge area to relax--plenty space
Promised peace and quiet and delivered exactly that. Lovely setting
It doesn't "promise the earth" and delivers great vfm
Down a narrow lane that prevents local area getting spoilt and over developed

Old fashioned hotel, but lovely. Ideal position in Bridport. Great views. Large room, comfy beds, great linen. Jacuzzi bath with shower over, tv to watch in bath. Big tv in room too. Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Staff all friendly warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

Great location and very friendly staff. The room was lovely, and the bull in gave us a room upgrade.
Breakfast was wonderful.
