The staff were great and the hotel has a fantastic location. The room with sea-view are definitely worth the extra cost. Restaurant on site and middle-eastern and italian places near by. WE booked for 1 night and stayed 3 and were swtill a little sad to be leaving. The craft beers that they have for sale are delicious. We will be back.

The hotel is located in a 14th-century building. Absolutely wonderful, harmoniously designed by combining heritage details with modern solutions. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room is stylish and comfortable, equipped not only with all necessities but also with extra touches that provide real comfort. Excellent breakfast, which can be enjoyed not only in the restaurant itself but also in the enclosed courtyard. If we ever return to this city, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Big breakfast selection with delicious food. The room was spacious and comfortable. Sauna is also available, sadly we could not have the time to use it this time. Overall, a very cozy and nice little hotel.

The breakfast was very nice, lots of good cheese and salami, and variety of Brötchen. The property has a small beach that is very scenic and perfect for sunsets. The staff were very polite and helpful. They provide you a bus pass so that you can use the bus as you need.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given an unexpected upgrade. Our room was excellent. Location was excellent.

It's just great, it's like I came to my home, it's quiet and close to everything. On the ground floor there is a bar and restaurant with an amazing atmosphere.

I didn’t see the stuff - everything was done online. So it’s a real plus for introverts 😁 our room was on the 2nd floor with the stairs located outside the building - it was a new experience for me. The hotel is located right in the center, it’s 5-10 min walk to the sea and Ozeaneum. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Nor.Tisch cafe located right in front of the entrance door is a real treasure 😍

We simply loved the Pension and its surroundings (die Altstadt). We also met the hosts and some of their colleagues on several occasions and they were all really friendly and outgoing. As other reviewers have mentioned, breakfast is available via vouchers in a café just around the corner (Mein Backhus). With so many edible attractions on offer, it's quite easy to exceed the limit of the voucher (€ 9.50 in 2023), but we didn't mind too much because the food and the coffee (we didn't have the filter coffee) were fresh and tasty. Some of the ladies at the café were nicer than some others, but we just decided to get over that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Kontorhaus is situated on the Querkanal canal in Stralsund, on the Baltic Sea coast. It offers free Wi-Fi and a unique Hanseatic design.
