the apartment was very spacious, clean and well furnished, the kitchen was simpler but still very pleasant. The location of the accommodation was probably the best, it is located right in the city center and is a great starting point, self-checkinn was very nice

The hotel was clean and modern, had a good parking possibility, nice breakfast and most importantly it was nice soft beds. It is merely a 20 minute walk downhill to the old city center, which did prove an obstacle going back uphill. The hill is very steep and I am not in the best shape, so it was a struggle. The hotel didn’t have an elevator either so if you have difficulty moving this is probably not the best choice of accommodation. The view from both the bedrooms and breakfast room were very beautiful and a lovely addition to the nice hotel. The only thing I think needs getting changed is that the room didn’t have any darkening curtains, so in the early morning we were woken by bright sunlight straight into our eyes. Would happily stay here again, if curtains would be provided to the rooms.

I loved the hotel, its rooms, its beds - excellent for resting and the charming breakfast room. It is so well positioned in the Old Town, so you can immediately immerse in its beautiful small streets, while at the same time it is accessible by the car in case you need to drop your luggage. Amazing location, spacious, spotless rooms, very well equipped and decorated. Delicious breakfast. The best in this romantic hotel is the staff, especially Elena. She is kind, helpful, and friendly. She helped us with the parking of our car and overall made our stay a wonderful experience. So when you are in Bamberg, stay at Altstadhotel Molitor. You won't regret it!

The location is superb, 1-2 mins from the Rathaus and absolute centre of beautiful old town. Excellent recommendations from reception for getting a smoked beer and a meal resulted in our one evening there being truly memorable. The hotel is not luxury but being very neat, having lovely touches, being comfortable and immaculately clean in the best location counts for far more than that.
