This was extraordinary. In packing out, we forgot (and left in our room) a small leather agenda book. We called the hotel from our residence in Brussels to see if the hotel had found it. Indeed they did find it and notified us with a message asking us how we would like it send from Lausanne to Brussels. It was superb service.

The hotel was in a wonderful location, very close to the old town and bus/metro routes. The staff were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to help us. The restaurant and bar were excellent as were the rooms.

Hotel Angleterre is located on the shores of Lake Geneva facing the Alps, and is just 5 minutes by car or metro from the centre of Lausanne.

The rooms were very comfortable and especially the beds and pillows. The balcony was an added bonus too. We had 2 rooms for our family and one was upgraded. The hotel is well located and a short walk from the Olympic Museum (worth a visit) and Lake Geneva.
