Giessbach is like stepping into a fantasy. The place is fabulous and the interior of the hotel is very butiful. Great nature and beautiful lake surrounding the place. The dinner was great with live, classical music accompanying great food and service. A big surprise was that the same two man orchestra played soft classicalmusic also during breakfast, which was just fantastic. Will gladly come back again, anytime, 10 out of 10:

Everything was perfect- location, staff, facilities, breakfast. Our room has the best view! The staff were very nice and accomodating! They even prepared a very special breakfast for me and my husband on our last day there. I highly recommend Strandhotel, best hotel in Iseltwald! I liked the hotel very much. Beautiful hotel from the outside, beautiful room, furniture made of wood. From the window there is a gorgeous view of the mountain and fir trees! The room is warm. Excellent bathroom. Very clean in the room. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Very good location of the hotel - in the center of the town. The restaurant serves delicious food. The friendly waitress advised what to choose for dinner, she guessed my food preferences and was very friendly and polite. I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.
