Guided tours and excursions can be arranged at the property. The hosts were very friendly and open. The breakfast was amazing, the room got cleaned every day. The location is also perfect at the edge of the medina. The rooftop terrace which is accessible at all times has a beautiful view over part of the medina and the Borj South, see the picture of a sunrise during our stay in January. We were with 3 guys so we booked the room for 4 to have a separate bed each, the private bathroom across the hallway was great, but simple, see picture.

The à la carte restaurant at the Riad dar Farah serves traditional Moroccan cuisine. Breakfast is served every morning. We really enjoyed our stay at this riad, from the mint tea welcome, to the point that we left the following morning. The central courtyard was lovely and the rooms were nicely decorated. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where we ate a delicious dinner. The staff were great, with a special mention for Sukina, the night manager, who was delightful. The location was great, inside the old medina. As expected, there can be no on-site parking inside the medina, so we parked in a car park outside the wall and had a carossa transport our luggage to the riad.

Booking my stay with Dar derb el miter is the best decision for my Morocco trip. The property is perfectly situated, just steps away from both the car park and medina. That means no need to drag luggage around. From right after the booking till departure, I am well taken care by Ahmed and Mama. It was truly home away from home experience and I enjoyed every bit of my stay.
