Very small TV and lack of tv programs

Value for money, great location as it located right in front of gurney esplanade and walking distance to Gurney mall and paragon gurney mall, great breakfast with variety of choices, clean room and spacious, upgraded to sea view room during check in, spectacular sea view from hotel room window.

nothing to worry even though bus stop on the back building a short walk. I noticed Northam is not a beach access.

The lifts door closed very fast...often having the door close on us or other users if we didn't hold the door. Please look onto this...very dangerous! I dun really enjoy their deep fried chicken.. too hard and dried! And the fried rice and noodles...a bit bland! 1 more thing i dun really like is the toilet bow flush position... too low... TV channels are standard...best if there's more movies channels offered

Friendly and helpful staffs. Hotel suprise me with complimentary birthday cake, a bowl of fruits and decorated the room. Accommodated request for an early check-in so i can meet up my friends earlier to celebrate my birthday. Get a high floor room looking over the nice seaview. Room was also cleaned fast... Breakfast was ok...lots of varieties though most menu are repeated. Loved their Kueh Cara...

the breakfast was below average. the variety was boring. I was expecting more local flavours like malay quehs. Even the mee goreng, prata and the dhal were not tasty.

No complaints but I suggest the ladies to bring your own hair dryer. The one inside the bathroom needs a rest after every 5 seconds.

It's newly refurbished. Can tell it's still old plumbing and structure but everything else is decent. Certainly good value for money. My kids love it. Clown show was their icing. Breakfast spread was good too

I was told the mini bar would be restocked every day, but there was little to nothing in it to start with. ie no alcohol or nibblies. More comfortable lounge chairs at the pool would be nice.

The room and facilities, though functional, are in general dated and in need of an upgrading/renovation.

The breakfast buffet has an amazing spread of local and international food. Gurney Bay Hotel is one of the few hotels that has (two) tennis courts at the Fitness Club. The locatrion is walking distance to Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragoin and food courts nearby, and overlooks the sea.

No Shower place..thank you.

Rooms should have shower space. Seniors like us cannot stand in the bathtub and shower difficult and dangerous..please take note of that..thank you. Mr.Vinzz in the make the stay a wonderful happening with his services..Thumbs up

Maybe extending dining/ food order facility to 24/7
