SingaporeThe shower area had poor drainage and flood the area. Fortunately the depth of the shower floor stops it from flooding the main toilet. Variety of breakfast was sufficient however the quality of it could be better improved. Instant canai, teh tarik is also instant and the chicken was very tough. Maybe the kitchen team could look into it. Secured WIFI was not working.
The room was clean including the toilet and bathtub area. Kids enjoyed the bathtub very much. The aircon was also working well and a fan is also available. Good place to rest and relax. Staff was friendly and helpful. Checking was seamless and fast too. Available TV channels were limited but YouTube and Netflix are available.

SingaporeBathroom door was stuck closed. Took the serviceman 15 min to come up and assess, 45 min to get a ladder to come and repair, and 15 min to get it fixed. By the time the door was fixed, it was 11.30pm.
Location near golf course. Convenient if you are playing golf.

SingaporePoor customer service from the on-duty manager when I checked-in at 4.12pm on Jun 7, 2025. The on-duty manager was curt and blunt when I just wanted to clarify (in a nice way without being offensive!) why we only had breakfast for 2 when I paid for 3 pax on the hotel room. On top of that, the room power card did not work. The service people were polite and made up for the on-duty manager's poor attitude. One more thing. Forest City Golf Resort is the first hotel (out of over 200+ 4 and 5-Star hotels that I have stayed in over 40 years) that "politely refused" to give us an extra room key when there were 3 of us staying in the Family Suite. My family had to follow me up and down the hotel because we only had one room key. In emergencies, we had to look for the bellman to help us open our room doors.
OK, but quality left much to be desired. Naan and mini doughnuts were dry,

The room is very space and the bed is comfortable. I love the balcony with nice golf court view . The golf cost reasonable which just take the shuttle car to arrive and pay directly at the golf court, which cost 50 RM each basket ball.

SingaporeAgeing hotel, not well maintained. Found a coackroach in the bathroom coming from below the shower tiles. The pool is big but the water was cloudy, questioning how clean the water was. Dining offer is limited, the malaysian food restaurant was closed (permanently)
Super conveniently located for a golf trip, attached directly to the 2 courses. Spacious rooms. Right after the Tuas checkpoint from Singapore. Great view from the rooms on the golf course.

Rooms are very spacious, felt a bit worn out but still in a good shape. I had the big suite with long balcony and the view to the golf course. Really worth the money!

SingaporeThe location was not quite ideal. It’s quite isolated, and having a car is a necessity to get around. There are no convenience stores nearby. A 7-Eleven or Family Mart within walking distance would have been a great addition for quick snacks or essentials.
Excellent breakfast, there was a good variety of options, the selections catered to different tastes, and it tasted good, the dining area was also not crowded.

SingaporeThe air vents gave off some musty smell at times. Those who came without own transport may have problem getting out.
I got to say it serves one of the best buffet breakfast in JB. My fav is the fragrant nasi lemak and rendang. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Room is spacious and twin rooms come with 2 super single beds. The golf course facing rooms offers beautiful view of the greens.

United KingdomPlayed golf and besides paying lots of money to hire clubs ( after being told they have new sets of clubs) , I was given very old and almost golf clubs that belong to the dump site . On second day of playing I was promised better clubs and got exactly the same very old clubs not worth hiring . Very disappointed besides being the first to tee off .
