How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Housekeeping left us out one night, and we did NOT leave out a, 'Do not Disturb' sign. Walls are a little thin between guest rooms.
Location near Gare de lyon station. Good continental breakfast. Street is busy with cafes and restaurants, so felt safe.

Floors are a little sticky, could use a good mopping.
Good location near Gare de Lyon, room was very clean, good sheets, updated bathroom fixtures, quiet at night.

At breakfast the tables weren’t cleaned, I had to remove someone else’s food to have a place to sit.
We stayed for one night as we were catching a train to the south of France the following day from Gare de Lyon. It was perfectly located for this purpose, clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive.

It was only missing a small fridge in the room to store cold water in summer !
We all really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was perfect for a quick time in Paris as it is located very close from the main subway station for attraction (line number 1). The breakfast was really good and convenient (good value for its price). The staff was also very sweet and lovely ! The room are spacious enough as we know in Paris it is hard to get a lot of space ! Overall, a very nice stay !

The hotel is very close to the train station and subway, making it easy to explore the city center. The area is extremely attractive, clean, and pleasant for a train station district. Restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity, and one of the best bakeries is just a few meters away. The rooms, although small, are pleasantly decorated and equipped with everything you need. Our room faced the back courtyard, was quiet, and we slept very well. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

The elevator is extremely small and towels were limited.
The beds were comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located within a block of Gare de Lyon in a neighborhood with plenty of cafes and boulangeries. It’s a 15 min walk to Notre Dame.

The only small downside was that the street outside can be a bit noisy at times, but overall it didn’t affect the quality of my stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel is well connected to the city center with nearby metro and bus stops, which made getting around easy.

One of the pillows weren’t clean and we were too tired to request a different pillow so my friend turned it on the other side. It’s a bit loud at night if you’re a light sleeper it won’t work for you!
The room was average space in Paris. I liked the vintage style mixed with modern and mostly I liked the staff they were the BEST shout out to Khaled and Marshal! Such an attentive staff and helpful!

The street can be noisy in the early hours of the morning but unlikely to disturb most people.
The hotel staff are really helpful and super friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were tidied every day. The location of the hotel is excellent. The metro is very nearby. There are lots of cafes and places to eat in the area.

Reception staff could have been friendlier. They were polite but uninterested. They didn't tell me there would be May 1st parades blocking access to the hotel and that they would be locking the front door nor that most attractions would be closed. Maybe I should have known, but I didn't. Breakfast was very basic. I should have gone to a local cafe.
Great location close to Gare de Lyon and looking onto Viaduct des Artes and the Promenade which is the Paris version of the New York High line. Comfy, clean room. Large windows in the room and shower room overlooking busy junction but the windows were well soundproofed and the traffic noise didn't bother me.
