Loved the train concept and the style of the rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff (although the English language levels of some of them needed improving). Delicious food and great variety. The Poirot restaurant design, food and service was fabulous. So too Papillon bar. We were lucky that the hotel was quiet as it was low season, so it felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. Not cheap but definitely worth paying for a treat!

One has to see the effort and amount of attention to detail it took to create this resort. It is just stunning... Rooms with terraces on two different sides, bathtubs for two, lighting, amenities... and then you step outside to incredible landscaping and see all the love poured into this place. Everyone should spend a nigh here,t at least once... I'm definitely coming back.

This is the first "10" rating of many comments / ratings I have given during my travels. And it is well deserved. The value for money at Jason´s Plearn Khaoyai Resort is excellent. The cleanest rooms I have ever had in Thailand anywhere - and that includes some 4/5 star Hotels! The best & cleanest pool I have seen in a long time. Great location, close to the National Park, so pick-up (e.g. by tour operators) is easy. While the main road (incl. food places, a Temple and a nice Cafe) is in walking distance it is still quiet in the resort. The beds are great and even the towels had a very fresh scent! The photos on booking.com all reflect reality, which sadly isn´t always the case. Jason is a very nice host and can help with Tours etc. We also were allowed to spend the time at the pool, while waiting for the taxi (way after our check-out time), which was a luxury and made our trip even more pleseant. @Jason: thanks a lot, mate! I booked this place because I wanted to be close to Khao Yai and it couldn't have been better! The place is run by a family. The room is beautiful and I really enjoyed the views to the garden (I put my blanket and did my meditations there). The guys are super kind and helpful as well as their parents.They made me feel at home all the time. I wish I could've stayed longer. Hopefully I will come back someday, I'm gonna miss you ❤️

MUTHI MAYA Forest Pool Villa Resort offers spacious villas with a private pool overlooking Khao Yai National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features a spa, an 18-hole golf course and free WiFi. The pool villa unit we stayed at had the yard / patio facing part of Khao Yai plus one golf course hole and was absolutely wonderful to just sit, relax and unwind. We can hear all kinds of birds in the distance and little critters once in a while. The rooms are very roomy and very well appointed. The sofa bed couch in living room was superb. The dinner at Tani Japanese teppanyaki wagyu was great, and buggy service all throughout. Will definitely try another Kirimaya property! Kudos to both staff and management!
