Loved our upper garden suite — beautiful room and view, great comfortable patio, big bathroom, architectural features. Lovely. All the little things were thought about— drying rack, fan, basket for the pool/beach, coffee/creamer/sugar, umbrella, vanity kit, everything you could think of! The staff could not be more amazing or helpful. From the very first minute, we got there, the women at the reception were absolutely wonderful. Cold class and yummy lemonade were provided. A thorough tour of the room and amenities. The manager/owner robin was fantastic as well and very helpful with recommendations, etc. The food at the restaurant and bar was delicious and good value. We hate every breakfast there as it was included in our room price and we were not disappointed! There are dogs and cats that live at the resort and they were delightful

This place is probably one of the best I have ever experienced in the Philippines. The views, the place and the rooms were great, but the best of it was how welcoming the team was. We felt like we were visiting a family member. From the very beginning they picked us up from the airport, they helped us and explained everything in a very personal way. We had an array of transportation possibilities facilitated by the team. The rooms and the facilities were all properly clean and they were well equipped to cover for all needs. The breakfast was simply the best we have had so far around the country. It was big, it was tasty and nicely presented. Overall it was an amazing experience and we are so thankful for the treatment we received.

Our stay at Balihao was the highlight of our stay in the Philippines: the luxurious villa with a private pool, the restaurant (one of the best meals we had in the Philippines), the breathtaking view, the overall atmosphere... Honestly, we hesitated at first because there weren't that many reviews, but we are so glad we came. We stayed for 4 nights but decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much. Thanks for the memorable stay; we wish we could have stayed longer! And special thanks to the great team that made us feel at home!

The upper level of the restaurant was comfortable and relaxing after a day of seeing the island. I love the atmosphere of which made a restful night. What really the set apart was the staff personal attention to details. the staff took time to recommend local spots and made sure I had everything I needed for a stress-free stay. The peaceful surroundings where just added bonus-the place was the perfect retreat. I highly recommend this spot to everyone looking for relaxing and comfortable stay It felt like a second home! Great in-house restaurant good food and the staff and owner is wonderful.
