From the very first moment, the staff went above and beyond to make everything easy and enjoyable for us. Their service was simply exceptional. We were also lucky enough to meet the owners and learn more about this beautiful and unique project — it made the experience even more meaningful. And last but not least, the food was top quality. We highly recommend trying the pork belly — absolutely delicious! Thank you for making our honeymoon so special. We’ll never forget it!

Set in Mambajao, 2.6 km from Sabang Beach, Tongatok Cliff Resort offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a tour desk, along with free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Big, comfortable room with porch, good breakfast. You can also have other meals in this restaurant and the food was good. Nice and maintained property. Nice location on top of the cliffs. Very nice sunset view. Staff is helpful and friendly. And the owner (Frank), who also lives there, went over expectations helping us with the situation when ferry from the island was cancelled on our departure date. (At the end the best option was to wait for next day.) You will need a scooter or a car to explore the island and Frank can organize it for you (pick up and return at the property). There is not much traffic on the island which makes selfdriving enyojable and google maps works just fine. Some other info: in feb 24 white island (sandbank) was P550 for a boat, good for 4 people + P50 pp for environmental fee. Starts at 5:30 am. A lot of parking space there. I was the only one searching for the corals there with not much success. :( Mantinique island: 750 for boat (up to 6 ppl) + 75 pp. And +75 pp for snorkeling in the marine park on the island payable on the island - a lot of fish there, the reef is 2-3m deep, so corals are not that close. But it is nice. 3 hours are more than enough. Giant clams sanctuary is still closed. They are waiting for the government approval. You wont be able to swim where the clams are, but the beach narby has quite a good corals (but nothing special). Try the cold and hot water pools on the island, there are many and all maintained quite well. Entry fees 50 or 75pp. Check Beehive restorant some 5km down the road for a drink or dinner with the sunset view in a Gaudi inspired environment :) If you plan to visit the island mainly for the snorkeling, I would pick some other destination. Beware that there are limited options to get to the island or to leave it. Ferry to Jagna(Bohol) can be cancelled any day. So you can buy a ticket only at the port on a departure date...

At the resort, all rooms include a wardrobe and a balcony with a sea view. Bintana sa Paraiso Binunsaran features some units with city views, and the rooms include a patio. At the accommodation every room has a seating area. First, I would like to say the staff, especially Malou, Gretchen, Ian, Drexel, and Loretto, were really great. They took good care of us there. We were a party of 16 people with 6 kids ages 15 and down. The staff is very, very accommodating and very nice. I am very grateful for that. Also the food is very delicious. Between the staff and the food, those are the resorts' best strength. Now, the reason for my 4 stars for the room is pretty much because the things that could have been done to just keep a better maintenance would add up to the experience. The water shower heater keeps dying, maybe because the place itself probably can't handle too many people at one time. The resort only has 10 rooms. We took about 5 on our stay. Maybe the owners or management can try and fix that, especially if they want to have more people going there. The rooms are also very small, really perfect for just 2 people, two tiny people to be comfortable. Also, the bathroom is too big and could have been cut down to give more room for the bedroom itself. Also, the main dining room can benefit from a few ceiling fans for the bugs and mosquitoes. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay at Bintana. Thank you to all the people there who took great care of us.

The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island is a 10-minute drive away. Beautiful quaint property right on the ocean with a charming tropical flare. Great in-house restaurant good food and the staff and owner is wonderful.
