Staying at Yakaduru was one of the best ideas we had during the trip in Sri Lanka. The staff looked after us and took us on an amazing walk around the hotel. They have a wealth of knowledge about animals, they are true enthusiasts! Hotel clean, very well maintained. Food - adapted to European tastes ;-) very delicious ... and lots of it .... Safari expedition (in our case a full day) - was great. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to meet nature face to face and relax!

Guest rooms will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. The size of the tent room was great. Absolutely loved being able to go for a dip in the pool after a hot day. Highly recommend the bbq dinner as this was yet another highlight of our stay.

The open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion wrap around the resort’s free-form swimming pool. Guests can enjoy creative daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the restaurant, as well as sundowner cocktails and picnics al fresco on the sand dunes, watching dusk settle over the Indian Ocean. Guests learn about the wildlife in the park and watch documentaries in the library. Everything was perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. The food was delicious, the drinks were well balanced and tasty! The design of the tents is absolutely beautiful! Our ranger, Buddi and driver, Laky were so knowledgeable and great. Shashika our cutest co-ordinator was lively and surprised us with an anniversary dinner at the beach.

The units at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. Such a nice, green and calm place. It’s not so far from the yala national park entry. The host was really nice and we got really good breakfast and dinner. The pool is a plus after a long and sweaty safari day

I really like the breakfast I think that the suite that we stayed in was very spacious and it was clean, well organized, and it was a treat to have the private to our accommodation.

The rooms at the accommodation come with a seating area. Definately book here. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it, best accomodation we’ve had in Sri Lanka, beautiful attention to detail and idealic location so close to the Yala NP. Gabriel organised the safari for us with guides that he trusts and they did a great job. We saw a leopard, an elephant, toucans, monkeys, crocodiles, spotted deer and lots of birdlife. Can’t recommend booking this place highly enough.

Set in Mailagamuwa, 25 km from Situlpawwa, The Warden's House - Yala offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property is around 26 km from Tissa Wewa, 8.9 km from Kataragama Temple and 20 km from Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Village. The resort features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property. Where do I start! everything was beautiful from the calm garden inside the nature to the most poetic looking river, the room was huge and specially made for safari vibes. Each one of the staff was super nice and friendly thanks to (Mr. Reihen, Mangala, Mangula) for making our stay very special. The food and the starry calm night were amazing. We went on a safari trip with Mr. Reihen who was a professional guide and photographer, the tour was almost private, one car only. We went to zone 5 which only 20-30 safari cars were there so we could really enjoy the trip. We were very lucky to see many animals specially the beautiful leopard.

What an unique experience ! Super friendly stuff, our host Damith was doing his best to make sure we had the best experience. They arrange Safari tours as well. Very quiet location.

I recently stayed at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and it was an incredible experience! The resort is amazing, with clean and spotless rooms that are spacious and comfortable – plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights of our trip was a lovely beach BBQ that was very special to us. It created such a warm and unforgettable memory.A special mention to Shehan, who truly made our stay memorable. He’s a fantastic chef, skilled therapist, and an excellent guide. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see a leopard and a bear – such a thrilling experience.I highly recommend Kingfisher Beach Resort to everyone. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality.
