This place was so amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff and Roshan were so friendly and made you feel so welcome. Roshan organised a safari to Wilpattu for us, which will be one of our special days from our trip. We even saw leopards. The buffet supper was amazing with so many beautifully prepared dishes. The aubergine was our favourite. Do not hesitate to book the place if you are in the area. It's perfect in every way.

This is truly one of the best places we have stayed, highlighted by the most delicious food we had in all of Sri Lanka—simple, yet incredibly tasty. The accommodation is a newly built luxury tent that is beautifully arranged. While the tents do not have air conditioning, the good climate and natural shade meant we were completely comfortable. The staff are exceptional: they are knowledgeable, highly polite, friendly, and well-behaved. Our safari was awesome; we spotted all the animals we had hoped to see. We were delighted to find that Wilpattu is much less crowded than Yala, which allowed us to enjoy a private jeep and a wonderful sense of privacy and personal time during our game drive. Overall, this was a fantastic and highly recommended experience.

Loved that it was hidden in the jungle! Basic accommodation but loved the location, tranquility and sounds of surrounding nature. Food was lovely. Sampath and his wife, Ajanta, were the perfect hosts and so helpful. He organised our safari, helped us with a visit to the doctor, took us fishing at the nearby lake and his son came to do a karaoke one night. All very enjoyable and loved Wilpattu NP. An unforgettable experience. My kids loved the frogs!
