Can’t stress enough on how wonderful this place was! Incredible facilities, fantastic staff and a great experience. The room was amazing, the concept of eco resort totally echos in every corner. The staff definitely deserve an applause, made us feel at home! The food was astonishing and the professionalism unbeatable!

Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was perfect. Roshan and his staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Arranged a perfect full day safari with the best driver/spotter we could have hoped for. And some of the best vegan food I have had. Thank you Roshan and staff/family. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.

Amazing accommodation, super friendly host and crew. Beautiful new rooms, new bathroom…, luxury looking. Amazing bed and pillows, by far the best stay. Beautiful garden with fresh fruits, tons of birds to watch and according to paw prints, the occasional elephant. Very good food

Great staff. Safari was organised by the resort. Breakfast and lunch provided for the Safari. Driver for Safari was great at spotting animals.

There is nothing to dislike about this resort. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food served for breakfast and Dinner is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Roshan he is a bundle of energy and motivates his staff to be the best they can. The Safari organised from the resort is fantastic with excellent experienced guides. Any onwards travel can be organised by the owner very quickly. I highly recommend this resort.

Very friendly staff with wonderful nature resort. We went on a boat ride early morning in nearby lake. There were millions of birds.

The camp exceeded our expectations, huge tent with hot water in en-suite. Lovely 4 course meal. Definitely a luxury experience and one to remember for all the right reasons. There is always the worry that safari trips will be too intrusive to the animals and nature but this was not! Very well organised and thoughtfully done.

Excellent location to access Wilpattu entrance which was about 10 minutes away. Very comfortable bed and Aircon was effective. Owners wife very charming and aimed to please but not really exposed to hospitality industry so sadly service not up to par for what we would pay for similar prices in another location. However it’s all about the Safari so all we needed was a place to sleep since we didn’t need to spend anytime at the resort.

The Green Saphire Holiday Resorts is a great place to go on a safari in the Wilpattu National Park. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are very good. The safari, which was organized by the owner was nice as well and we got good equipment to spot all the animals.

Absolutely gorgeous host! Dylan is an amazing host and is literally trying to make everything possible. The food and the rest of the staff are likewise amazing. I’ve stayed for two nights in one of his rooms with a full day safari on the first morning which Dylan organized. I can definitely say that the Green Sapphire Holiday Resort is a true gem and would fully recommend this location for any excursion in and around Wilpattu National Park.
