The cottages are equipped with air condition and spotless clean. It was the best accomodation I had in Sri Lanka. There was this sense of tranquility and archaic beauty about it, that made it really unique. We also booked the Safari with the owner and had a great time in the Udawalawe National Park with a very knowledgeable and helpful driver.

Meals were served in a lovely thatched restaurant in the garden and really nice. We asked for some breakfast to take on our safari which was packed up for us. The hotel is almost opposite the elephant transit home which you can visit at feeding time. Nite- the transit home only accepts cash.Very pretty gardens in the hotel and friendly staff.

Breakfast was more than enough and full of fresh Sri Lankan ingredients.
